Holmbergs never stops innovating. We developed our first seat belt buckle in 1955 and now we’re upgrading buckles so they can communicate directly with drivers. Our eBucke™ and presence sensor sends real-time information to the Connectivity Hub™ and a wireless signal is sent to the driver display to keep the driver notified with buckle status and safety notifications.

Holmbergs DigitalSafety™
Holmbergs DigitalSafety™ has three main components: the eBuckle™, the Connectivity Hub™ and the display. Let’s take a look at each of them.
Holmbergs eBuckle™ buckles up and unbuckles like our standard buckles, but they have something extra. Each eBuckle™ has a connecting wire that runs from the buckling mechanism to the Connectivity Hub™. The hub forwards information to the display.
Powered by batteries, the Connectivity Hub™ is what communicates with the Holmbergs DigitalSafety™ display. It sends a notification to the Holmbergs DigitalSafety™ display if the eBuckle™ comes unbuckled.
The Holmbergs DigitalSafety™ display keeps the driver notified with buckle status and safety notifications. Connect wirelessly to your vehicle’s built-in display through the steering system using our gateway solution, or pair directly with Holmbergs’ display design. A seamless connection, no wires needed!
